My grandpa bought this car new on November 16, 1964. After my grandparents passed, it went to my aunt in the mid‑1980s. In 2014, she passed it on to me, knowing I’d be a good caretaker. Having my grandpa’s Impala and my dad’s Chevelle means a lot — it’s like holding onto pieces of our family’s story.
I’ve spent the last few years cleaning her up. After nearly 60 years on the road, she shows some wear and tear, but she’s full of character.
